Learn to Play? No, Play to Learn!

Hi, my name is Suzan. When I was 10, I taught myself to program in basic and started a lifelong fascination with technology and the ways it could be used to expand what’s possible. After living & working thru the internet and smartphone revolutions, and becoming a mother to 3, I am also keenly aware that using technology wisely is crucial.

With the launch of GameSchool, I’m combining my love of independent learning, technology, and game design together with a purpose. Like it or not, technology isn’t going away, so we must use it to encourage genuine human connection and flourishing. That’s where I think games can help us.

Games are an excellent way to encourage cooperation, communication, a shared sense of purpose and keen appreciation of justice and fairness. They are also fun and rewarding and great platform to learn.
